SPECIAL NOTES:

Rental Computers -

If you need a rental computer make sure you tell the Clerk when you sign-up for the Class or Workshop.

There will be no "extra" computers available since all computer have to be prepared prior to the Classes/Workshops.

Rental Computers will have all Quilting Software Programs installed to include all updates and sister programs.

Rental Fees are payable to the Class Instructor prior to Classes/Workshops starting, unless other arrangement have been made with the Class Host by the Instructor.

Rental Fees are non-refundable.

Classes are set up for two students per computer. Rental Fee is $10 per student for the day.

If student prefers not to share a computer the Rental Fee is $20 for the day.

Get to Classes/Workshops a few minutes early so you can get to know your borrowed computer.

Due to possible virus problems, Sticks/thumb nails Drives will not be allowed to be used on rental computers. NO EXCEPTIONS

Students are welcome to bring their own computers to Classes/Workshops.

**Students bringing their own computers must have all software programs installed on computer prior to Classes/Workshops, to include all software updates, if available.**

It is highly recommended that all personal computers have a "standard mouse" attached for the Classes/Workshops. Even if you are an experienced laptop user. The Touch Pad will slow you down in Classes/Workshops, even if you are an experienced laptop user. Drawing a straight line with the Touch Pad is can take time.

Instructor cannot and will not install her software on any personal computer just for the Classes/Workshops, since this is a copyright violation.

If you borrow a friend's laptop computer for the Classes/Workshops, it is highly recommended that you spend some time getting to know the computer prior to the Classes/Workshops.

Students personal computer must be in good working order.

Arrive early to Classes/Workshops - this will allow you sufficient time to set up your personal computer prior to Classes/Workshops start time.

Students must understand that this will not be a "basic computer class". It is understood that you already have basic computer skills when you sign-up for the Classes/Workshops.

Students must have good working knowledge of their computers prior to the Classes/Workshops.

Computer technical support for personal computer problems will not be available during Classes/Workshops.

**If assistance is required to install software, a fee of $35 will apply, per installation. All fees are payable to the Instructor, prior to installation.**

Installations will be done during lunch break only. Instructor will not have time to install prior to Classes/Workshops due to set up requirements, so please do not ask.

Packing a long extension cord/surge protector would also be a very good idea, since we never know where those outlets will be located.

Make sure you also pack your External Floppy or CD drive, just in case.

For Quilt-Pro Classes/Workshops - Foundation Factory, Block Factory

For QuiltSoft Classes/Workshops - Professional Block Libraries 1 and 2, Fabric CDs
